CLEVELAND – Pierre’s Ice Cream Co. got a unanimous thumbs-up from the City Planning Commission this morning on their $6 million proposal to build another 35,540 sq. ft. production and storage facility on their Midtown Cleveland campus.
According to Tyler Garrett, a designer for Ray Fogg Building Methods, Inc., the addition will be attached to Pierre’s current headquarters and warehouse at 6200 Euclid Avenue, and will house high-tech ice cream-making equipment, storage rooms for ingredients such as sugar, cream and chocolate chips, and an automated flash-freeze hardening chamber to freeze the ice cream for shipping or storage.
